The Typist
A typing game about a career at the typewriter. Take commissions from the letters in your mailbox, copy classic books sheet by sheet, and get faster, cleaner and better paid as you go. For desktop, the web and phones.
What you do
- Copy real books. Public-domain classics from Project Gutenberg and Standard Ebooks, or books you import yourself. Your own books never leave your device.
- Build a career. Accept offers, deliver sheets, earn your fee and grow your reputation.
- Type by ear. Dictation contracts play LibriVox recordings and you type what you hear.
- Compete if you like. The Daily Telegram, per-book and weekly leaderboards, or keep your scores private.
The game is free to play. Your career is kept on your device, and you can save it to an account to play on other devices.
The Typist Pro
Pro removes the limit on importing your own books and supports the game's development. Prices include VAT where it applies.
