Delete your account

In the game

Open Settings → Account → Delete account and confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.

By email

If you can't open the game, write to faru@thetypist.app from the email address on your account, and include your pen name. We'll delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

• Your account, pen name and email address
• All your scores and leaderboard entries
• The typists you follow, and your Pro status on our servers

Books and progress stored on your device stay there until you uninstall the game.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it first: for web purchases use the link in your receipt email; for App Store or Google Play purchases, use your Apple or Google account settings. Purchase records are kept by our payment providers as long as tax law requires.
